It’s not easy doing this piece in front of crowds because they usually give me this strange look of how could this be? But the psychological mindset of validating abuse exists, and it’s important for people to hear this message and actually gauge how they view abuse. The victim doesn’t always want to walk away, some victims actually embrace it because they don’t recognize real love.
