Dance in your Strange Land

It’s unfamiliar, and I get it. All your life you’ve listened to the familiar voices of your native land telling you which direction to go and exactly how to get there. You’ve always kept their voice of reason at the core of your being whenever facing difficult challenges.

Until today…

You’re in a place where there’s no more direction, no more reliance on your native people because of the simple fact that where your heart is leading you they can’t take you, and where you’re going you can’t explain to anyone because you’ve never been there before. It’s a strange land full of endless possibilities and new experiences.

Although you’re scared, there’s a silent assurance that this is the right place. The place you’ve been working towards all your life, but have never obtained. It’s ok. Take your time and get familiar with the layout, learn the language of the land, and be patient enough to absorb the practices. It takes time, and time is what you have when it comes to exploring new territory. Don’t neglect to pick up a map from the master teacher in town. Some have been where you’re trying to go, and there are different paths you can take, but the experience will be uniquely yours. Talk to the commoners so that you’re acclimated to the area. Ask questions wherever you find yourself, and don’t forget to have fun. Don't worry so much about being in a new place that you forget to have fun. And look, No worries!

There’s a remedy to these exploration woes.

Find a club, find a corner, or wherever you can go and just dance. Dance in your strange land because where you are is perfectly fine. Every path you have taken has led you there. You are at the right place at the right time of your life line. Forget everything else, and just dance. Forget how your native people are pissed about you being there and just dance. The energy you exude from every fiber of your being will merge with the energies around you, and everyone around you will understand. They will understand you are in a strange land, but you appreciate everything that has gotten you there.
